  • Assisted in budget development for mining projects, identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.

  • Establish 2 week and 3-month mining schedules.
  • Coordinate mining activities with crews and engineering in order to best achieve Quarterly Targets.
  • Oversee engineering production and development designs and Manage short-range planning team, aligning design priorities according to scheduling needs.
  • Roster worker: 2 weeks on/off (FIFO).


Underground Operations (Feb 2022- Nov 2023)

  • Development: Drill-hand for Jumbo, Maclean bolter (resin Rebar) and Cable bolter, Prep and load development rounds (ANFO Loader).
  • Production: Operate 40 T underground truck (sign off acquired), Time spent with: Various crushers, rock breakers and Tele-remote mucking.
  • Logistics: Longhole loading (Emulsion loader), Time spent with longhole driller (Solo, Stope Master (ITH, TH), Stope Mate), Services (Scissor lift), Shaft Inspection, Dispatch and Hoist, Water Truck and Boom Truck (Nipper).
  • Engineering/Operations: Continuous improvement of engineering practices based on interactions with underground crew. Rely on relationships established with crew members to further develop understanding of underground operation. Help fortify engineering / operations relationship.

Drill and Blast Engineer (Feb 2021-Feb 2022)

  • Issue development and production plans.
  • Produce all deliverables as related to stoping cycle. Transverse and Longitudinal methods. Stope reconciliation.
  • Exposure to Orica WebGens explosives.
  • Coordinate with Boart Drilling Contractors.
  • Drilling fleet: Stopemaster, Stope Mate, Solo, Production hole size: 3”, 4” and 4.375”
