As a Senior Guard, I play a vital role in protecting U.S. Embassy Ouagadougou personnel, facilities, and equipment. I oversee access control operations and ensure routine maintenance for my team of guards. I conduct inspections, provide on-the-job training, and act as a supervisor when needed. I ensure guards follow security procedures and promptly notify RSO officers of urgent matters. I manage and monitor pedestrian and vehicle access using advanced security equipment like X-ray scanners, Itemizer, and walk-through metal detectors to screen visitors and prevent unauthorized entry. I respond to security incidents such as bomb threats, fire alarms, and protests. I report potential threats through the appropriate channels. I support evacuations and maintain logs of security activities. My administrative duties include writing incident reports, monitoring the Central Alarm Monitoring System, analyzing security logs, and assisting with training development. I ensure the effective operation of security control panels and emergency systems.

Protection of US mission personnel and facilities. Member of security team during US mission events . Conduct access control missions and screening for US Embassy in Ouagadougou. Check employees and visitors' badges. Do Pedestrian patrols at the embassy or at the residences. Screening and Checking vehicles for vulnerabilities. Talk or deal with suspicious people who are around the residences. We escort contractual employees for repairs and construction works. Make sure people respect security rules such as ( no weapon, no camera, no laptops or phones).

• Install and configure PABX systems for managing internal and external communications within the organization.
• Repair power supplies by diagnosing issues and replacing faulty components, including resistors, transistors, capacitors, ...
• Manage power-related issues of PABX systems, including power supply failures, backup battery issues, and cooling fan malfunctions causing overheating.
• Implement telephone networks using PABX systems, RJ11 and RJ22 connectors, and male and female junctions to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with PABX systems, network cards, and analog cards.
• Fix common problems with telephone sets, including connector issues (male and female junctions), microphone failures, screen problems, and line deprogramming.
• Ensured reliable connectivity and communication within the organization by addressing network and analog card issues.

• Program and maintain HF, UHF, and VHF radio systems.
• Configure Motorola 5500 and 8000 relays.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and perform repairs on radios, inverters, and power supplies.
• Utilize magnifying glasses to identify and repair issues in miniature electronic circuits.
• Enhance signal strength for transmission and reception in transceivers.
• Replace and install antennas to maintain signal strength.
• Repair and maintain fixed-line (landline) telephones.

• Install, test, and operate radio equipment, adjusting settings to achieve clearest transmission.
• Monitor emergency frequencies to detect distress calls and dispatch emergency response personnel or equipment.
